I got a disease immediately after one-acts, so I was basically in bed all of Monday and Tuesday. Went to school Wednesday for callbacks, and nearly passed out.
Results: The play, Auntie Mame
should be an absolute hoot. The only problem.... A junior, and in my opinion not a very good one, got the lead role. My part is fine, I'm Doris Upson, a rather silly, new-moneyish person, and married to Mike Obert. Again. You may remember this.
Romantic life - pretty good
Choir concert tonight, hope my voice holds up. I'm still pretty stuffy, but at least it's not in my throat.
I have a journal due tomorrow on a play I haven't read. I suppose I'll manage.... Late night for this one, it looks like.
Anyway, that's how it's been going down, good stuff, bad stuff, still-dead-scanner stuff.... The rain has started, and spring is just around the corner! I'm excited. Are you excited?
