Zeal It feels good to be done with sophomore year! I didn't really talk it up that much over here, but I'm 100% definitely going to be in Aberystwyth for the next academic year, which is really exciting! I'm very ready to take a break from Beloit and see some new places, and meet some new people.
Artistically, I've got a lot of plans for the summer!
+Keep working on color theory! I'm getting better, but it's a constant struggle.
+Keep output higher in general. I'm going to have a full-time job starting next week, but I need to make art a bigger priority.
+Tea labels! Those of you on Tumblr will have noticed that I've started a project: make tea blends and corresponding labels for all the major Doctor Who companions! I'll be uploading the artwork in batches, but you can look at or buy the first blend here! A particularly citrussy blend of earl grey and white tangerine... mmm.
I don't actually profit from this, but their teas are REALLY high quality, and I like to think I have a good sense for blending... hahaha.+Do some life drawing, need to work on different body types. Any excuse to go to Starbucks.
+Comics! I'm going to try and put together a submission or two for a mystery comics anthology, so wish me luck!

$5 face/bust sketch
$7 sketch
$10 inked cartoony figure, +7 for color
$18 inked full figure, +10 for color.

Since I'm going to be in Wales for a full year, and likely not have a work visa, I am going to be working my BUTT off this summer to save up. I really want to make this trip count, and in order to be able to really focus on my academics, I can't afford to be stressed out about money issues.
