Since I return to school on Saturday (!!!), my time after that is going to be relatively restricted, and commissions are going to be a bit more difficult to make time for. In light of that, I'm going to be boosting prices a bit. They WILL still be open, but I am giving people a week from TODAY to order/reserve a spot before prices go up.
I'll be posting this on Tumblr as well, so everyone gets a fair chance.
TODAY, AUGUST 24, UNTIL AUGUST 31, I WILL BE TAKING COMMISSION RESERVATIONS
. There will be 10 slots, and those 10 will all be charged according to the original pricing guide here: [link]
After those 10 are filled, or the week is up (whichever comes first), all further commissions will be priced according to a new pricing guide which I'm working on at the moment.
Again, thanks to everyone who has commissioned me or boosted the signal, or even faved/commented on the finished commissions! I really appreciate all this support, and I DEFINITELY didn't expect the response I got when I started.
WORKS IN PROGRESS
Working on a T-shirt commission for the lovely Tex, it's great to get back into printing! In the same vein, I'm making Terrible Tees a Thing![link]
If you don't understand it, you REALLY shouldn't ask, but in the case that you do, anyone is welcome to ask for one!
They're honestly going to just end up being like 5 bucks plus shipping to wherever you are, because I'm really only interested in breaking even on this project.
Also, you've probably noticed my most recent post, can I just say:
HOLY SHIT GUYS, that is definitely the most faves I've received in the span of, what, 2-3 days? Absolutely mind-boggling. And there are more on the way! Vector art is really fun, and I love them ponies.
Still trying to figure out Photoshop in general, and using the tablet and pen, so I'm going to try and do some more experimental stuff. Gabrielle
has told me (quite rightly, too) that while my art is all right, I'm definitely still just doing stuff I'm comfortable
with, and I need to break out of that. I'm taking a drawing and design course this fall, too, which should definitely spark a little more creativity. Which makes a good segue to
Starting August 27! I'm excited.
Somewhat apprehensive, because I'm taking two history courses, one of which promises to be EXTREMELY reading-heavy, but it's about Chinese history and culture, so that should be really cool since it's not something I'm very familiar with!
ROOMIES ARE GOING TO BE AWESOME, we have a mutual agreement to get moved in hella quick so that we can watch "Let's Kill Hitler" lololol nerd room forever.
I should start packing.
