And I'm missing TWO circonflexes, ah American keyboard, why you fail so hardcore.
Anyway, happy Passover, happy Easter (for both Orthodox AND wtf else you call the majority), happy Sunday, happy spring, guys!
... I guess Passover isn't exactly HAPPY, it's kind of scary, actually when you think about it. Blood and plagues and slavery. Well, everybody needs something to celebrate, I suppose! Easter isn't much better. Happy Zombie Jesus Day! Roll back the tombstone and let's party with pagan fertility symbols.
Or a BELL if you're in France. What the crap.
[link]Enjoy and be baffled.
Anyway, since I didn't get into ANY of the colleges I applied to, art now has more of a priority in this household, and my dad is more likely to fix the scanner in the near future. Silver lining, silver lining.... trust in the wisdom of the Best Buy people.... hope that Morris thinks I am a shiny special snowflake and worthy of fall admission...
Also, anyone who is tempted to give blood at school, DON'T. Make an appointment with a Red Cross CLINIC, because those Bloodmobile nurses are not trained enough, and it will hurt like tiny people made of fire having a party in your elbow crotch.
on a lighter note, lmao the April Fool's Day icons, good work, DA.
I'm sorry to hear about your admissions trouble—though I eagerly anticipate the art you'll produce in the meantime.
…When you say "Morris", do you mean this college, or this college? …Because if it's the second: I thought you wanted to get out of Minnesota?
Yeah. It... really really sucks. But yep, it's U of M Morris. And yeah, I DID want to get out of Minnesota. Clearly that's not happening this year, though.
I'm sorry that you can't escape just yet…but once you prove your worth in college, other institutions will jump all over you!
I have heard from a reliable source that you will find Morris academics to be top-notch. The cold will be awful, though.
haha, perhaps, perhaps.
Yeah? I've been hearing it's not as bad as some say, I'm starting to get hopeful. And don't worry, I'm very cold-resistant.
In fact, the only person I ever heard complain about Morris academics was a dance major…and she's at the Twin Cities campus now.
I wish I had recognized Colby somehow, but I can't say I know her very well, either.
Also, who do you know besides me and Nathan?
