The run of HONK is in full swing, and has been going off beautifully! People are loving the coloring books and we're getting lots of support for the theater department, which is AWESOME.
The director's grandmother (tiny Japanese lady, omg so cute) bought 10 as stocking stuffers for her great-grandkids. ;____; PEOPLE ARE SO NICE
They keep asking me and Mike to pose together for pictures, too, which is hilarious because, as far as I know, none of the really MAJOR characters have had that happen. Yesssss.
Slightly awkward thing - whenever people come up to congratulate us, it never fails that they say "And you two are just so perfect together!"
hahhahahaa uuhhhh, thank you....
And then the rest of the cast, whoever happens to be near will be like "LOL I KNOW, SHOULDN'T THEY JUST GET MARRIED IRL"
My birthday went really well too! It was pretty quiet (that was one of the days we had practice til 8:30 pm) but people were wishing me well and giving me food all day, which was great.
Funny thing - folks kept saying "Oh, so you going to get a sweet tat or porn or what?" and I was like "lol, I'm only 17" and it was amusing.
The sweetest thing happened yesterday - the cast went to Khan's Mongolian BBQ for lunch, and Ashton, one of my geese came up and said: "I found this on my desk, and I thought it was just too perfect for you, so, happy birthday." It was a paperclip shaped like an airplane (because the geese are sort of like the Royal Air Force in the play, dontcha know). I'm totally having it made into a necklace.
I love my friends.

We're reading A Tale of Two Cities for AP Lit, which is.... holy crap. Dickens. YOU HILARIOUS MAN. I like it already.

Although actually it's okay because you're super busy.
But when the play is over, Hannah, I hope you know that I will come over to your house and lay on your couch and pretend like I am writing while you do your homework and maybe just get nothing done because I miss you something fierce. Even though I just saw you but we barely said two dozen words because you had to rush off and be fabulous.
And so Sophia and I just sat at the front desk and pretended to be desk ladies while discussing the possibility of steps between president and president of the world and also crying a lot because we miss you so much.

Also dude get a cell phone man I wanna be able to text you again.
But nawh it's fine, it's fine. Don't even worry about it. You had other people to talk to and stuff. It's cool.
