That is all.

EDIT:
Well, I hope you all had a fun 4th, even if you don't celebrate it, Saturdays are nice. :)
I went to a free Prairie Home Companion showing in Avon, MN. Long drive, but it was worth it. Garrison Keillor is a FUNNY. MAN.
Unfortunately, my dad only brought this stupid sunscreen that looked like a freaking chapstick, so I tried to roll it on, but now have really weird burn patterns on my shoulders and back. >:I
there are 2 triangles of BRIGHT RED on my shoulderblades where the straps of my tank tops separated, haha. ;_________;
they hurrrt.
Watched fireworks from a parking lot that had a surprisingly good view. I love the kind that, after the initial BOOM, the ends of them dissolve into gold rain. :D

ALSO, in case anybody got the wrong impression from that video - I do not think that America is the BESTEST NASHUN EVAR.
I do, however, think that it is a pretty cool place to be. Where else (besides Canada) do you get people who talk about their varied heritage on a regular basis? It's my impression that, while proud of their heritage, folks in Europe and Asia, where the majority of the population is homogeneous, tend to.... take it for granted?
I guess... in America, we have to really work to keep in touch with our roots, instead of being surrounded by it all the time.

I used to kind of hate America, not going to lie. Particularly in the early years of high school, and through middle school, I thought the nation was beyond help, that its history was boring, and that it was full of morons, unlike beautiful and cultured Europe.
........
HAHAHAHAHA

Well, thanks to Hetalia, I've gotten a huge exposure to both positive and negative stereotypes of nations - there are idiots in Europe too! Gasp!
coughSilvioBerlusconicough
And along with that, I've kind of learned to love and appreciate my country. Certainly there are parts of its history that I'm not proud of, there are actions we've taken that I disagree with.... but as a nation? We're pretty OK.
Planes.
Burgers.
Assembly Lines.
Democracy.
Free speech.
Slaves.
Torture.
Neo-Imperialism in Latin America.
It's all part of one thing, you know? And you have to take the good with the bad, and try to keep the bad from overwhelming the good, however you choose to do so.
If you read this whole thing, WOW, haha.
and thank you.
Happy birthday, America. You're doing all right.
